Mask Monday

Hello to all 🙂 welcome back to another blog post. Today I am back with another exciting Mask Monday with actual tips to all the moms out there with little to no time for themselves. You are welcome in advance! To those who aren’t mom’s no worries, you can try these tips too if you find yourself with little time and in desperate need of skin care love and attention.

So, for this, Mask Monday face mask I have a little back story. I remembered not too long ago during my bottle washing and disinfecting morning routine I played a YouTube video of a mommy blogger who had mentioned doing face masks in the shower which helped her save time but keep up with her skincare routine since she hasn’t been. I realized I have not been the best when it comes to keeping up with my skincare routine until recently, which why I even started Mask Monday on my blog to keep me going. I also thought what a genius idea similar to using hair masks yet on your face while you shower so you’re not using extra time and could do it without having to worry about rushing for the baby.

For my hair, I am still working on hydrating my curls and taming frizz it’s been raining a lot and I have noticed so much frizz.

For my lips, I am still working on exfoliating as well let’s be honest summer is right around the corner having dry and chapped lips isn’t cute. I found a recipe for a lip scrub and topped it with a lip mask afterward.

Masks I used this Monday are:

Que Bella Professional In shower Gel Face Mask

Lip scrub (brown sugar, coconut oil, and essential oil (optional) Miss Spa Deep Patch Hydration Facial Treatments

Pantene Intense Rescue Shots Ampoule

My final thoughts:

Que Bella Professional In shower Gel Face Mask-I absolutely love this gel mask it works amazing left my face feeling soft and smooth I recommend this product to everyone. This packet was good enough for three uses. *Tip use this right before getting into the shower with a clean face and what I normally do is brush my teeth for two minutes before getting into the shower. This would be a mask  I remove towards the end of my shower use it on neck and chest*

Lip scrub (brown sugar, coconut oil and essential oil lemon (optional)- I enjoyed this recipe and left my lips feeling soft and smooth I made sure I wasn’t as rough, and it did remove all the dead skin. *Tip use a small toothbrush to exfoliate better lightly not rough will promote blood flow as well. *

Miss Spa Deep Patch Hydration Facial Treatments- I REALLY liked this lip mask it did have no flavor, but it wasn’t bad as previous masks. *Tip I placed it in the fridge to keep it cool and took it out before using gave it a cooling effect after exfoliating. *

Pantene Intense Rescue Shots Ampoule- This mask truly lived up to its name “intense” it truly worked on my hair. I used it and felt it working as I was using it on my damaged frizzy hair. *Tip leave the mask on your hair as long as you can and rinse with cold water. Before getting out of the shower splash your hair with cold water to seal your hair cuticles.

This month Target came out with two beauty boxes the Fall beauty box and a face mask beauty box. Today I will be reviewing the face mask box for the month of September.

As a face mask, hair mask lover, I have an at-home spa day AT LEAST once a week and this months beauty box came right on time.

***A little disclaimer I did not receive this product in an exchange for an opinion/ review I paid these with my own money and wanted to review them for myself. ***

This box includes:

Lumene LAHDE Aerating Gel Mask
Innovative airy water-gel formula instantly replenishes skin’s moisture to promote a healthy, glowing complexion. It does an amazing job at hydrating your face and getting it back to how it should be. It feels nice and cool to the touch. After use, my skin looks a little more plump and truly feels hydrated (quenched like the name of this box).

TRESemme Keratin Smooth Deep Smoothing Mask Sachet
Keratin and Marula oil form a powerful 5-in-1 system that fights frizz, detangles knots, enhances shine, adds softness and tames flyaways for gorgeously smooth locks. I loved this mask smells amazing, and left my hair feeling soft and frizz free. I repurchased this mask immediately. I highly recommend to everyone who has dry, curly and color treated hair.

Acure Brilliantly Brightening Biocellulose Gel Mask
Unique biocellulose fiber evenly distributes the antioxidant powers of vitamin C, kale and cucumber for refreshed and soothed skin. It was nice to see a mask free of parabens, sulfate, phthalate, mineral oil, petrolatum, silicone, & cruelty-free. This gel mask also is 100% vegan which was very nice to see.
Miss Spa Energize Facial Sheet Mask
Sodium hyaluronate’s restorative abilities help boost skin’s moisture levels and protect against environmental stressors. I’ve used several Miss Spa face masks before and I’ve loved them I look forward to trying this energize sheet mask.

Masque Bar Rose Gold Peel Off Mask
Enriched with natural fruit extracts that aid in purifying and soothing to brighten and soften skin. I loved using this face mask not only do you get a nice rose gold look on your face but upon peeling it off it leaves your face feeling smooth.

My overall thoughts on this facial mask beauty box is that I loved it. This box has a great selection of new face masks which I will be purchasing.  I highly recommend this beauty box not only is it affordable but you also get full-size face masks and a hair mask to try.
