Tanologist Water Sunless Tanning Treatment review

Product review: Tanologist Water Dark Sunless Tanning Treatments

Available: Target

Hello, all welcome back to another blog 🙂 today will be a product review blog post on the Sunless water tanner by Tanologist. Since summer officially hitting New York City I have been enjoying the outdoors more and with that comes the beautiful tan glow. I have to be completely honest and say just how much I wish I would tan nicely but the reality is I don’t, I actually burn. Over the years I have avoided the sun, and tanning beds due to its harmful effects. I do have upcoming birthday parties and events in which I want to look with a bit more color instead of my pale skin.

I have heard horror stories on being orange and looking like an Oompa Loompa by using sunless tanners which is why I always avoided them. But recently I heard about this sunless tanner and decided to give it a try.

Highlights on the Tanologist sunless tanner:

Vegan, organic, & cruelty- free. Non- comedogenic so no clogged pores. Transparent formulation so no transfer onto clothes or sheets. Its multi-purpose formula is suitable for use on both face & body

It did mention depending on the intensity you want the tan you could rinse anywhere from 1-4 hours. I sprayed using my tanning mitt and used circular motions to make sure I got every section. I left this product on for 1.5 hours before rinsing it off since it was my first time, I wanted to test it out. There was no odor and it wasn’t unpleasant having it on. I did notice a slight difference and the color was not orange which was great.

Please note that color does develop hours after using Tanologist it’s also buildable tan, therefore, you can use it until you achieve the tan of your liking, unlike other sunless tanners.

After using this product for some time now I can say it also begins to fade in a uniform way and not patchy at all which is something I find very effective and great so nobody really notices.

I overall love this new sunless tanner and recommend it to anyone looking to have a nice glow or tan during the summer months without being exposed to the sun’s harmful rays.

As always, I thank you for stopping by today.

Have a great day and until next time :)!

Mask Monday

Hello, all welcome back to another blog 🙂 Mask Monday.

This past weekend has been a great humid weekend Jlots of humidity, heat, and rain. My hair has been frizzy, I did have a burnt scalp which has been really rough lately. My face has been doing really well as far as no breakouts, but it has been on the dry side. This week my goal was to add moisture into my face.

For my hair, I decided to try a new product YES to Tea tree scalp relief- Soothing hair clay mask. I love this product. This is the only thing I tried that instantly fix my dryness and itchiness of my head due to being sunburnt. It also smoothed my hair and helped out with having my hair frizzy. Love the smell and a pretty green color.

For my face I decided to try JiinJU beauty 5 step travel kit- I came across this at a local CVS pharmacy. I found this kit to be perfect to try. Steps start with a cleansing oil (1), foaming face wash(2), a toner (3) and then you do the actual face mask for step four which was an avocado sheet mask (super moisture just as described in the mask.) after applying the sheet mask a hydrating cream is my fifth and final step. This Korean beauty product was by far a great experience a mini skincare routine which truly left my skin feeling fresh and moisturized.

For my lips, I used elf- lip exfoliating lip balm in the mint flavor. It definitely removed all the dead skin I had in my lips but also hydrated them as well.

My eyes were on the puffier side this Monday so to try and help treat it I decided to go with cucumber slices and place them in my eye area for 20 minutes. I did show improvement.

This sums up this week’s mask Monday. I hope you all enjoyed it and perhaps found something worth trying. As always, I thank you for stopping by today.

Have a great day until next time
